Senior Commercial HVAC‑R Service Technician
Full‑Time | Monday–Friday | On‑Call Rotation
Senior-level commercial HVAC‑R role focused on restaurant refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
Intellitech Mechanical is hiring experienced technicians to service refrigeration, ice machines, and hotside equipment in active restaurant kitchens across the Phoenix area. This is not a commission or sales-based position.
Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration is required. Restaurant equipment experience is a plus. Residential HVAC–only experience is not a fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems (reach‑ins, walk‑ins, low‑temp systems)
- Troubleshoot and repair ice machines
- Repair and service hotside restaurant equipment (fryers, woks, ovens, griddles)
- Handle system start‑ups and replacements
- Run independent service calls and complete digital documentation
- Share on-call rotation, scheduled in advance
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting ability in commercial refrigeration systems; hotside experience preferred
- 3+ years commercial HVAC‑R service experience
- Technologically competent (mobile apps, tablets, digital work orders)
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening
- Clean driving record preferred
Pay
- $28 - 35/hr based on commercial refrigeration experience
