We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Selling Technician & Comfort Advisor to join our growing Houston team. This role is ideal for an experienced residential HVAC professional who excels at diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems while helping homeowners make informed decisions regarding repairs, upgrades, and system replacements.

Compensation: $80,000–$150,000+ per year (Base Pay + Commission + Performance Incentives)
What You'll Do: Residential HVAC Service & Diagnostics
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including:
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps
- Furnaces
- Accurately identify root causes of equipment failures
- Deliver high-quality repairs with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes
- Provide exceptional customer service during every homeowner interaction
Comfort Advisor & Sales Responsibilities
- Present repair, upgrade, and replacement solutions to homeowners
- Conduct in-home consultations using a "Good / Better / Best" approach
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades and complete replacements
- Build estimates and proposals for repairs and new HVAC systems
- Close sales through education and consultative recommendations rather than pressure tactics
- Help homeowners make the best decision for their comfort and budget
Leadership & Growth Opportunity
- Serve as a lead technician within our growing Houston operation
- Help establish service standards, culture, and customer experience expectations
- Mentor and support future technicians joining the team
- Provide technical guidance and field support
- Act as a trusted liaison between field operations and company leadership
Operations & Team Collaboration
- Manage daily service routes and priorities with support from dispatch and leadership
- Maintain vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment
- Communicate effectively with office staff, dispatch, and management
- Utilize CRM and field service software to document work and customer interactions
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience selling repairs, upgrades, and replacement systems
- Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Comfortable using field service software and CRM systems
Preferred
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Texas HVAC licensing (or ability to obtain)
- TDLR registration
- Experience using ServiceTitan
- Previous leadership, mentoring, or lead technician experience
