Job Summary

Duties
- Manage the deployment of containerization tools like Docker and virtualization platforms such as VMware and vSphere to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
- Oversee system integration efforts involving APIs, SQL databases, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other enterprise systems to facilitate data flow and process automation.
- Implement best practices in IT security, including PCI compliance, network security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and adherence to NIST standards for data protection.
- Utilize project management tools like Microsoft Project and Jira to track progress, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of automation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on system administration tasks including server management (Windows Server), network infrastructure (Cisco routers), SAN storage solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Promote an agile environment through continuous feedback loops, DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, and fostering collaboration among development teams.
- Monitor performance metrics using SolarWinds or similar tools to optimize system uptime, security posture, and overall efficiency of AI solutions.
- Support vendor management activities related to IT infrastructure components such as Citrix environments, remote access software, help desk support systems, and enterprise applications like SharePoint.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing AI or automation projects within an enterprise setting with a strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, DHCP/DNS configurations, VPNs, VoIP systems, and firewall management.
- Hands-on expertise with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Citrix; familiarity with cloud services including AWS and Azure is essential.
- Strong background in system administration across Windows Server environments (Microsoft Windows Server), Linux platforms, and enterprise databases like SQL Server and Oracle.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies; experience with Jira or Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Technical proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation tasks; experience with application development (.NET framework) is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues related to network engineering, application development, or system security.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels; leadership qualities necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Pay: $62,691.89 - $75,499.91 per year
