Steingass Mechanical Contracting is looking to hire a seasoned lead HVAC service technician to support our commercial customers and coach/mentor junior teammates. Applicants MUST have at least 7 or more years of relevant experience with commercial or residential HVAC employers to receive consideration for this position. Requisite skills include extensive technical knowledge and experience servicing and maintaining forced air heating and cooling equipment, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, hot water and steam boilers, water tanks and rooftop units and ability to explain technical and financial matters to customers. Controls background a plus.
Candidates must also be able to read blueprints, situate, configure and wire low voltage systems according to manufacturer specifications and braze and solder, where necessary. Ideal candidates can multi-task, pay attention to detail, diagnose and solve problems, work well independently and in teams, and maintain customer trust and respect. Much of our service work is in the greater Cleveland area.
