Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans using auto body repair techniques.
- Perform collision repairs, including panel replacement, dent removal, and structural straightening with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicles to factory standards.
- Apply auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying and auto painting to achieve flawless finishes.
- Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with care and accuracy.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, including alignment, detailing, and minor mechanical repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure clear communication about repair progress and estimated completion times.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication is essential for quality craftsmanship.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Familiarity with auto restoration projects, auto estimating processes, and automotive repair standards is advantageous.
- Knowledge of auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying enhances your ability to deliver top-tier finishes.
