Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on General Maintenance Technician who is a true jack-of-all-trades to support the daily maintenance, repair, organization, and operation of our facility and equipment. Our company works with surplus scientific, laboratory, electronic, and industrial equipment, and this role is important in helping us keep the workplace safe, organized, and running efficiently.You will assist with general repairs, equipment handling, basic troubleshooting, cleaning, organizing, and preparing items for sale or shipment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting, inspection, and testing of surplus scientific, electronic, laboratory, and industrial equipment.
- Move, organize, clean, and prepare equipment for storage, listing, shipment, or customer pickup.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment.
- Assist with packing, use pallet, loading, and unloading inventory.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools for repairs, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance tasks.
- Identify damaged, missing, or unsafe parts and report issues to management.
- Support the sales and operations team by locating, preparing, and organizing products.
- Help with light building maintenance, including minor repairs, cleaning, organizing, and general upkeep.
- Follow company safety procedures when handling equipment, tools, and materials.
- Suggest improvements to maintenance, warehouse, and equipment-handling processes.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous maintenance, warehouse, repair, mechanical, electrical, or equipment-handling experience preferred.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment safely.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a requirement.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Must be able to commute to Hanover, MA 02339.
