Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in welding processes, particularly Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, and demonstrate proficiency in fabricating and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to precision welding projects across various industries, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks. Duties

Perform TIG welding on diverse materials, including sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork, adhering strictly to project specifications and safety protocols.
MIG experience is a plus.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute fabrication and assembly tasks.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise cuts, fits, and welds.
Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and press brakes to shape metal components.
Conduct quality inspections of welds using visual assessment and testing tools; ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards.
Assist with rigging, pipe threading, mechanical assembly, and the use of schematics for complex fabrication projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment; adhere to safety guidelines including crane operation and forklift handling.
Support manufacturing processes by utilizing skills in plasma cutting, soldering, machining, and assembly as needed.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Experience

2 + years demonstrated expertise in TIG welding; familiarity with MIG welding (Metal Inert Gas) is a plus.
Knowledge of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), plasma cutting, press brake operation, and sheet metal fabrication.
Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Experience working with ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels or structural welds preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, pipe threading, machining operations, and assembly processes.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise fabrication tasks.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in welding projects.
Familiarity with construction equipment such as cranes and forklifts; ability to operate these safely.
Prior experience in manufacturing environments involving ductwork or mechanical assemblies is advantageous. This position offers a dynamic environment where craftsmanship meets innovation.
