Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Form Setter/Finisher to join our construction team. This role involves constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and safety on the job site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete forming, carpentry, and construction site experience, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Duties

Set up and install formwork for concrete pours according to project specifications and blueprints
Measure, cut, assemble, and secure form panels using hand tools and power tools
Install rebar reinforcement within forms as required for structural integrity
Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and pumps when necessary
Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and stability of forms before pouring concrete
Assist with concrete finishing, including smoothing and surface preparation
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise form layouts
Maintain safety standards by following OSHA regulations and company policies during all phases of work
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate efficient workflow

Requirements

Proven experience in concrete forming, masonry, or related construction roles
Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
Hands-on experience with rebar installation, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
Ability to operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and other construction machinery safely
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights if required
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from schematics or project managers
Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site access if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
