Hatchett Electrical Contracting is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead electrical crews and oversee residential, commercial, and service projects throughout Northeast Florida.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced electrician who can manage people, coordinate work, solve problems, maintain safety standards, and deliver quality results. If you're the person others naturally look to for guidance on the job site, we'd like to talk with you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and supervise Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
- Coordinate daily job site activities and crew assignments
- Perform advanced electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
- Oversee installation of panels, generators, lighting systems, and complex electrical components
- Ensure all work meets NEC, OSHA, local code, and company standards
- Track labor, materials, project progress, and daily documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, vendors, and team members
- Maintain safe, organized, and productive job sites
- Help keep projects on schedule and within scope
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 8 years of progressive electrical experience
- Previous Foreman, Lead Electrician, or crew leadership experience
- Strong NEC knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to lead teams and hold crews accountable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and customer-service mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Must provide required hand tools
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
- Full-time
- Occasional overtime available
- Jacksonville, FL and surrounding Northeast Florida areas
- Approximately 25% local travel
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Clean driving record and insurable under company policy
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to pass drug screening, including marijuana
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in attics or crawl spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
