Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service and maintenance. This role involves working on various HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary.
Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues promptly.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to understand complex HVAC designs and systems.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
Adhere to safety protocols while working with various tools and equipment, including welding equipment and ohmmeters.

Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and plumbing systems.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Experience in appliance repair and general mechanical work is beneficial.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC installations.
Previous construction experience is advantageous for understanding installation processes.
