Position: Estimator/Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for the quality and production of all bidding documents including Quantity Takeoff, Shop Drawings, Submittals, Qualifications, Quantity Sheet, Bid Form, and all other Documents to support the Design, Quantification, and Preconstruction operations of the Company during the bidding process.
This critical role seeks to utilize the highest levels of technology, construction knowledge and standards to produce high quality Preconstruction Services that contribute to increased efficiency and reduced cost.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, plan, section, and detail shop Drawings; create Bid Forms, Quantity lists, Qualification Sheet, Submittals, etc.
- Coordinate project drawings through communication with Estimators, CAD staff and other project team members.
- Ensure that the project's needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Liaison between the Estimating team and Subcontractors related Preconstruction processes.
- Ensure Quantity Takeoff meets expectations of our clients.
- Update Estimate changes to the contract documents.
- Provide deliverables as required by clients.
- Assist in development of project documentation.
- Monitor information exchange between subcontractors and Estimating Team.
- Understand the Preconstruction scope of work for the Subcontractors.
- Perform quality reviews of Preconstruction documents as they relate to the contract documents.
- Produce presentation materials.
- Provide training and support to Estimating team.
Ideal Experience & Qualifications
- Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic to advanced computer literacy.
- Basic to advanced knowledge in Microsoft windows.
- Basic to advanced knowledge In Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- General knowledge of construction process.
- General to specific knowledge of piping systems.
- Autodesk Revit 2019-Current.
- Autodesk AutoCAD 2019-Current.
- Measure Square 8
- Knowledge of Drywall.
- Knowledge of Light Gauge Metal.
- Knowledge of Flooring.
- This job requires ability to work at a desk with computer equipment for prolonged periods of time. Eye-hand coordination is essential.
