Overview
We at Black Anchor Handyman & Millwork are seeking a skilled and dedicated person to join our team. Established in 2022, Black Anchor is a family owned home improvement company serving the north shore of Boston.

The next Black Anchor employee will be honest, hardworking and reliable. No games, no drama, just someone that is down to earth, has common sense and wants to work hard and become an important part of the growing Black Anchor family.

Ideally, the next candidate would have 3-5 years experience in the trades, specifically standard home maintenance and finish work, but we are willing to train the right person.

Requirements

Vocational or real world experience in home maintenance and/or woodworking.
Experience with standard power tools ie miter saws, table saw, nail guns, drill and drivers, etc.
Handy in areas of general home repair.
Strong in all areas of finish work carpentry/custom woodworking.
Confident in abilities and able to work independently as well as other team members.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Great communication skills.
Reliable transportation to various job sites is required.
Must have your own tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
