Job Duties:
In this Key Role as an Experienced in HVAC Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of multiple pieces of equipment, ductwork, line sets, etc. You must be able to work under minimal supervision, candidate is preferred to have knowledge of sheet metal techniques, mechanical and assembly processes. Candidate should have basic set of sheet metal hand tools.
Technician’s responsibility:
- As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you are the comfort controllers! Installing, repairing, replace and maintaining HVAC systems for homes and businesses in many different building settings.
- Work directly with your team, homeowners, and building owners
- Careful observation to establish the root cause of problems in mechanism systems
- Install, Retrofit, and Remodel systems including but not limited to Standard and Highly efficient Furnaces, Air conditioner units, Mini Splits, Oil Furnaces, Air Handlers, Heat Pumps and Water Heaters
- Changing Equipment
- Duct work and duct work modifications
- Work with Sheet Metal
Desired Requirements:
· Licensed HVAC-R technician –(would be a +)
· Licensed Sheet metal technician – would be preferred
· Experienced in the field – 5+ years preferred!
· EPA certification – preferred!
· Osha 10 – a must!
· Full Covid Vaccination
· If you do not have a license, you MUST be willing to enroll in HVAC-R / Sheet metal school shortly upon hire.
o We also assist in schooling upon a successful passing of the course
