REPORTS TO: Fabrication Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Able to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed. Hours may involve start times as early as 5:30 a.m. NOTE: Specific project requirements that may require afternoon or evening/night shifts.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve conflict professionally with the assistance of management.

Interface effectively, ethically and professionally with all levels of individuals

Communicate effectively in English (aural, verbal, and written).

High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may be substituted for education)

Able to sit, stand, bend, walk, climb, and remain in static positions for duration of shift.

Able to lift up to seventy-five pounds (75 lbs.) without assistance.

Possess strong desire, willingness and ability to learn new tasks.

Able to withstand exposure to heights, tight/confined spaces; work in dusty areas; work in temperature extremes; be exposed to external elements (wind, rain, snow, etc).
JOB RESPONSABILITIES:

Comply with all OSHA regulations and Shapiro & Duncan Safety Program.

Assist welders and pipefitters with screens to protect others from flash burns.

Opportunity to become a certified pipe stick/mig welder.
-
Work with welders and pipefitters, on all piping aspects of job.

Assist with the Coordination of any Pre Fabrication layout or installation.

Operate machinery (Vernon Pipe Cutting Machine, Band Saw, etc.)
