Licensed Plumber (Residential Service Training Provided)

bluefrog Plumbing + Drain • Full-time • Wallingford, Connecticut, United States • $95,000 - $200,000 / year • 3m ago

Looking for Something Different?

If you're a licensed plumber working in new construction or commercial plumbing and you've ever wondered what residential service is like, I'd like to meet you.

I am simply looking for plumbers.

If you have solid plumbing fundamentals and you're willing to learn, I'll invest my time helping you become an exceptional residential service plumber. Several members of our team made the transition from new construction into residential service. They brought their existing plumbing knowledge, learned a new side of the trade, and have built their careers with us. I'd be happy to connect you with them so you can hear about their experience firsthand.

If you're proud of your work, enjoy solving problems, and are looking to expand your skill set while increasing your earning potential, you may be exactly who I'm looking for.

What You'll Learn

One of the things I'm most proud of is the training we've built for plumbers making the transition into residential service.

Advanced diagnostics
Customer communication
Modern plumbing repair techniques
Water treatment
Drain diagnostics
Sewer camera inspections
Tankless water heaters
How to build trust—not pressure customers
How to make professional recommendations that genuinely help homeowners

You'll ride with experienced technicians and receive ongoing coaching every week. You won't be handed the keys to a truck and expected to "figure it out."

Residential service is a different side of the plumbing trade.

Every day brings different challenges, different homes, and different opportunities to solve problems. You'll build relationships with homeowners who trust your expertise while continuing to grow as a plumber. Many of our technicians came from new construction and discovered they genuinely enjoy this side of the trade.

What I'm Looking For

Connecticut P2 or P1 License (or apprentice nearing licensure)
Strong plumbing fundamentals
Pride in your workmanship
Positive attitude
Coachable
Professional appearance
Valid driver's license

Residential service experience is not required.

What We Offer

Competitive pay with performance incentives
Company vehicle
Company iPad
Uniforms
Ongoing paid training
Advancement opportunities
Modern technology
A supportive team environment
A company that believes investing in its people is the best investment it can make

I've built this company around a simple belief:

If you invest in good people, they'll build an incredible company.

That philosophy has helped us grow, and it's how I'll continue growing our team.

At the end of the day, I'm simply looking for good plumbers who take pride in their work.
