Job Responsibilities:

Install and terminate fiber optic cable on commercial and MDU projects. Install fiber jacks and mount distribution boxes. All should be completed at a high level of workmanship

Immediate opening for the following position:
Cable Technician

Entry level fiber splicer

Job Requirements:

- Must be willing to travel 30% Tucson projects
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must have a good work ethic and be punctual
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Must have a high quality of work
- Must have reliable vehicle
- Valid Driver’s License

Desired Experience:
- Pulling & Terminating cable (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber optics, and Other Low Voltage Cable Types)
- Dressing and Organization of Equipment Racks and Cabinets
- Install Routers, Modems and Cameras

All hiring candidates must be prepared and willing to work along with the company requirements below:

Reliable vehicle required. A truck or van is preferred.
Must have hand tools.
Must have knowledge of EIA-TIA standards as well low voltage cabling.
Must be able to read blue prints.
Must have customer service skills.
Knowledge of circuit extensions & riser cabling is a plus.
Must have a phone with internet and a camera

Must be presentable, reliable, and accountable.

Candidate should have a reliable vehicle (truck strongly preferred), tools and Candidate should have some knowledge of how to read a site plan or architectural drawing and how to understand and trace cable/conduit pathways in a commercial building.

Education:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
