Air Power Services Inc. is looking to hire a full-time air piping system installer to install, repair, and maintain air piping in work facilities. The ideal applicant will be eager, hardworking, and reliable. Applicant will be trained on how to properly handle all piping jobs and installations in adherence to customer demand and company protocol. Mechanical and technical experience is preferred.
Personal, technical, and functional skill requirements:
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to do occasional heavy lifting and use heavy tools
- Knowledge of basic power tools and safe usage
- Ability to work from a man lift.
- Understanding of measurements, numeracy, and basic mathematical functions
- Detail oriented with ability to complete tasks with verbal or written instructions
- Ability to adhere to and meet all daily production goals established by the manager
- Professional verbal and written communication skills between customers and other company members
- Experience in running piping or electrical conduit.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Evaluate each installation job and determine what materials and tools will be needed
- Assemble and fabricate functional and structural components of the air system with hand tools, air tools, and power tools
- Lift and position components into proper position using jacks and hoist
- Securely install components into the air system and ensure air systems performance
- Gather and organize all materials needed for each installation job
Required education: High school or equivalent, Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.78 - $22.42 per hour
