Flame Shield Systems is a licensed fire protection contractor growing fast on Florida's Space Coast. We're bringing on an experienced fire sprinkler inspector to handle deficiency inspections on commercial properties — wet systems, new construction, and existing accounts.
This role is a direct path to bidding larger commercial jobs as we scale. We're selective because we move fast and need someone who can hit the ground running.
What you'll do
- Conduct NFPA 25 ITM inspections and deficiency evaluations on commercial wet sprinkler systems
- Document findings and complete Florida Uniform ITM Summary Reports (Form DFS-K3-2015)
- Support new construction inspections per NFPA 25 standards
- Communicate deficiencies clearly to property managers and our operations team
What we need
- Hands-on fire sprinkler experience — non-negotiable
- Working knowledge of NFPA 25 wet pipe systems
- Familiarity with Florida fire inspection documentation requirements
- NICET certification a strong plus (any level considered)
Compensation & details
Pay rate$30–$50/hr DOE
Classification 1099 independent contractor
Location Brevard County, FL (field-based)
Schedule Monday - Friday · 9a-5p
