Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Pipefitter with a minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial piping experience to join our team in Durham, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-diameter piping (6" and larger) and possess the skills necessary to measure, fabricate, install, and prepare piping systems for welding and mechanical couplings. Candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Location: Durham, NH
Pay Rate: $35.00–$45.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and fit large-diameter piping systems (6" and larger) according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Measure, grade, mark, and cut pipe accurately using hand and power tools.
- Hoist, position, align, and secure piping using proper rigging and lifting equipment.
- Bevel and prepare pipe ends for welding using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Groove pipe for mechanical couplings to manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping layouts.
- Verify pipe dimensions and ensure proper alignment before welding or final installation.
- Inspect materials and completed work for quality and compliance with project standards.
- Follow OSHA regulations and always company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
· Must have OSHA 10 Certification
- Minimum 3 years of Pipefitter experience, preferably in commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction.
- Proven experience working with 6-inch and larger diameter piping.
