Duties

Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
Measure electrical components with tools like ohmmeters and ensure proper connections following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks including framing carpentry when needed.

Qualifications

Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams required for accurate installation.
Strong interest in learning about low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in construction environments.
Ability to work safely on construction sites while following all safety guidelines including NEC standards.
Construction site experience preferred; must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Basic understanding of framing carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills from experienced professionals.
