Certified Crane Operator – Commercial Marine Construction
A leading Commercial Marine Construction Company is seeking a Certified Crane Operator experienced in safely operating 50-ton to 100-ton Crawler Cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate crawler cranes for marine construction projects
- Install and drive concrete piling and wood dock piles
- Operate cranes from a barge environment
- Work with free-falling punches or drop hammers
- Install steel sheets using a Vibro hammer
- Perform daily safety inspections and maintain accurate equipment documentation
- Assist with equipment service and maintenance as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid Crane Operator Certification required
- Proven experience in marine construction and pile driving operations
- Must be safety-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to work full-time (45+ hours per week), with overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Willingness to work out of town; company-provided housing available for travel projects
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Compensation:
- Starting at $30.00/hour, based on experience
- Full-time position with opportunities for overtime
