Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Low Voltage Foreman to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems across construction sites. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in electrical systems, project management, and safety protocols. As a Low Voltage Foreman, you will coordinate teams, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of low voltage installation crews, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute system installations
- Manage project workflows using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid to track progress and resource allocation
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets specifications, codes, and client expectations
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling, and contract management to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for system testing and troubleshooting to diagnose electrical issues efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on low voltage systems or electrical projects
- Supervising experience leading teams in construction or related fields
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or similar platforms
- Ability to read technical schematics and use testing equipment like ohmmeters effectively
- Excellent project scheduling skills with experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of contracts, budgeting processes, and quality control standards in construction projects
- Valid OSHA certification along with comprehensive understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with pipeline wiring, conduit installation, system schematics, and low voltage wiring standards
