Full job description
Low Voltage Estimator to support our lineup of commercial projects involving structured cabling, access control, voice/data, video surveillance, fire alarm systems and other low-voltage technologies. This is a detail-oriented role that plays a key part in developing accurate, competitive bids and supporting project success from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
- Review drawings and specifications to define project scope
- Perform takeoffs and build detailed estimates and proposals
- Participate in jobsite walkthroughs to gather estimating information
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on budgets and timelines
- Identify and research potential clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
- Collaborate closely with project management team to ensure client satisfaction.
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of experience estimating low-voltage systems, such as Nurse Call, access control, voice/data, surveillance, structured cabling, and fire alarm systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and produce clear, accurate proposals
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
- A confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong understanding of the industry and its standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well across departments
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional jobsite visits, requiring the ability to walk, stand, or climb
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
