Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ductwork Specialist/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining duct systems and mechanical components within HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal airflow, energy efficiency, and system performance across various commercial and residential projects. Duties
- Install, modify, and repair ductwork and related HVAC components according to schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design specifications
- Conduct system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot equipment issues including refrigeration, boilers, and air conditioning units
- Perform mechanical systems repair and maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) equipment to ensure reliable operation
- Use hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to assemble and secure duct systems with precision
- Interpret schematics and building automation systems to facilitate accurate installation and repairs
- Diagnose electrical issues within HVAC systems and execute electrical diagnostics for efficient troubleshooting
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system status, repairs needed, and maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems installation and repair
- Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields such as plumbing or property maintenance
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, and building automation systems
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance, and installation including air conditioning units and boilers
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in appliance repair or field service roles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or HVAC/R are advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
