Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of general construction items.
- Operate company vehicles safely to travel between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating repair procedures, explaining system functions, and addressing client questions professionally.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation for all completed tasks to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and preventive upkeep to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of mechanical assets.
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, concrete, plumbing, tile, and various other trades. Experience of machinery operating is a bonus!
- Strong understanding of restaurants, offices, manufacturing facilities, residential construction (Single family and multi-family).
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively; experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices preferred.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure enhances your ability to handle diverse job sites.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Leadership qualities that enable you to work independently or guide junior team members as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles required.
