A fast-growing non-union electrical contractor is looking for electricians for commercial and industrial work in Prince William and Fauquier counties.

Expectations:

Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and to ensure compliance with codes.
Notify management if hazardous equipment is in operation.
Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety.
Plan, layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to meet or exceed NEC standards and/or job specifications.
Attend work consistently as dictated by the project schedule.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Install conduit inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between electrical boxes.
Fasten electrical boxes to studs and walls.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and components, utilizing test equipment and hand tools.
Read blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure compliance with NEC.
Follow safe work practice when moving materials.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ensure self and direct reports are following all company safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Be able to take direction from direct supervisor.
Ability to lead and direct electricians and helpers.
Maintain clean and orderly work site.
Verify own work and direct reports to ensure it meets company quality standards.

Journeyman / Masters License in VA or WV a plus.
OSHA 10/30 a plus.
