Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Electrician with at least 2 years of field experience to join our team. In this role, you will work directly alongside licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians on residential and commercial projects. This position offers an excellent environment to accumulate your required code hours for the Journeyman Examination under expert supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, conduits, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with the Michigan Electrical Code and state/local regulations.
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues under the direct guidance of a licensed electrician.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 plus years of documented experience as an electrical apprentice.
- Current State of Michigan Apprentice Electrician registration.
- Solid understanding of basic electrical theory and the National Electrical Code (NEC) / Michigan Electrical Code.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work comfortably in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to advance your skills.
