Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Operator that has experience with 15-20-30 Tons. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials as required. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction and industrial projects. The Crane Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on job sites.
- Lift, move, and position loads using various types of cranes, including tower cranes and mobile cranes.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with ground crew to coordinate lifting operations and ensure proper load placement.
- Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and other operators during operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site.
- Document daily activities, including equipment usage and any incidents that occur.
Skills
- Proficient in crane operation with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with loader operation, backhoe operation, bulldoze, dump truck, tanker, and farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to build effective working relationships with team members.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to crane operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
Work Schedule
M-F 7am-4pm
Must understand how to cut the length of line!
