Pay : $19 - $20/H
Schedule : Monday through Friday 5 am to 1 :30 pm 1/2 hour unpaid lunch (Saturdays possibly/OT as needed) -hours could vary

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Associate to join our client's team in the heavy industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to cutting and threading pipe, bundling pipe, and performing quality control on completed work.

Responsibilities

Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures.
Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
Thread pipe using Landis machines.
Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.

Requirements

6 months recent machine operation experience.
Ability to use and understand tape measures and gauges for quality checks.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Knowledge of safe work practices in the pipe yard.

Preferred Qualifications

3-6 months of sit-down forklift experience.
Backgrounds in auto mechanics, machinery maintenance, automotive lines, diesel, or farm equipment are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
