Bock Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join its Nashville team. This role is focused on estimating and managing commercial framing and drywall projects while helping grow an established Nashville office backed by a 40-year company history.
About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone with commercial framing and drywall experience who can estimate projects, manage work, build relationships with general contractors, and help drive revenue. The best fit will have experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, high-rise, or metal-frame construction environments. Multifamily garden apartment experience is not the right fit because the client base and project type do not translate as well.
Compensation
- Base salary: low $100,000s, depending on experience
- Profit-sharing opportunity tied to completed work up to 7% when estimating and managing the project
- Profit share may be split if one person estimates and another manages the project
- Higher base salary may be considered for the right candidate, with a different bonus structure
- 401(k) match: dollar-for-dollar up to 3%, then 50 cents on the dollar up to 5%

Key Responsibilities
- Estimate commercial framing and drywall projects
- Manage projects from award through completion
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors
- Attend pre-bid meetings and review existing conditions
- Conduct job site visits and project meetings as needed
- Follow up on bids and help drive awarded work
- Coordinate with field teams and internal operations
- Support revenue growth in the Nashville market
- Develop new relationships through networking and outreach
- Work closely with leadership on estimates, project strategy, and execution
Schedule and Territory
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Typical hours around 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Majority of work is office-based
- Some job site visits, pre-bid meetings, and field meetings required
- Office is located near Duluth Avenue, about 10 minutes outside Nashville
- Territory includes Metro Nashville and surrounding collar counties
- No regular travel required unless the candidate wants to pursue travel work
Qualifications
- Commercial framing and drywall experience required
- Estimating experience strongly preferred
- Project management experience strongly preferred
- Experience with metal framing preferred
- Commercial, healthcare, industrial, high-rise, or condo project experience preferred
- Existing general contractor relationships in Nashville are a strong plus
- Ability to estimate, follow up, and help win work
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a small office environment
- Self-motivated and able to grow without being dragged along
- Multifamily garden apartment experience is not preferred
Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
