Position Summary:
The Carpenter is responsible for the preparation, installation, and maintenance of all building and grounds in accordance with established procedures, company goals, and client requirements. The Carpenter will work closely with Project Managers, Designers, Foremen, and other Team Members to ensure that all job tasks are completed in a timely manner and with minimal supervision. The Carpenter will work on a variety of construction types including but not limited to: Pre-construction, Pre-construction Subsidence, Remediation, Demolition, Drywall, Finish Finishing, Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Prepare job site for tents and trailers by digging trenches and setting up equipment.
·Load and unload materials from vehicles and trailer.
·Prepare tents/trailers by setting up equipment.
·Prepare jobsite for drywall by preparing walls for painting.
·Prepare jobsites for drywall by applying finishing materials such as paint, insulation, sheetrock, drywall materials etc.
·Prepare jobsites for water damage treatment by setting up equipment.
·Prepare jobsites for wall materials by applying insulation materials such as fiberglass batts, spray foam (2-16-20), foam board, plastic sheeting etc.
·Prepare jobsites for finish finishers by applying finish material such as fiberglass batts, spray foam (2-16-20), foam board, plastic sheeting etc.
·Prepare jobsites for wall materials by applying insulation materials such as fiberglass batts, spray foam (2-16-20), foam board, plastic sheeting etc.
·Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
·1+ years of carpentry experience preferred but not required
·Knowledge of building systems including wood frame construction preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
