Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various types of cranes and heavy equipment to facilitate materials handling and construction activities on-site. Your expertise will ensure efficient operations while adhering strictly to safety regulations and procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale industrial projects with a focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.
you duties will not be always running a crane. we are looking for someone who is open to doing other things when there is not a crane to run. jobs do come with Daily per diem.
Duties
- Operate overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other lifting equipment with precision and safety awareness
- Handle loads using proper rigging and load securing methods in accordance with safety protocols
- Follow load handling procedures specific to crane operations to ensure stability and safety during lifting tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes and hydraulic systems to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards
- Adhere to construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards during all operations
- Assist with materials handling, shipping & receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and organization
- Implement safety equipment protocols and participate in safety meetings to promote a safe work environment
Experience
- Proven experience operating overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, or similar heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, lifting equipment, and material handling machinery
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and OSHA safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to follow load handling procedures and rigging techniques accurately
- Prior experience working in construction environments or warehouses involving shipping & receiving activities
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety practices including the use of safety equipment and hazard mitigation strategies

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
