Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems across various construction and maintenance sites. Your expertise will ensure that fire protection systems operate flawlessly, adhering to all safety standards and industry regulations. Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes
Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute pipefitting and sprinkler fitting tasks
Perform pipe threading, pipe welding (including MIG, TIG, FCAW), soldering, and tube bending using appropriate power tools and hand tools
Fabricate piping assemblies through cutting, fitting, welding, and assembly processes following ASME codes & standards
Conduct system inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and NFPA standards; document findings thoroughly
Use calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to measure components accurately during installation or repairs
Adhere strictly to safety regulations during all phases of work; operate power tools safely; follow construction site safety protocols at all times
On Call Rotation.

Experience

Proven experience working with fire sprinkler systems installation or maintenance in construction or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and pipeline assembly techniques
Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, pipe welding, and soldering with a solid understanding of welding safety practices
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for precise execution
Hands-on experience with rigging, fabrication, tube bending, pipe threading, and using hand tools in a construction or industrial setting
Knowledge of NFPA standards related to fire sprinkler systems; understanding of ASME codes & standards is a plus
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and system calculations
Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence; familiarity with OSHA regulations is advantageous
