Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and installation. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing.
Duties
- Must have Drivers license
- Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications.
- Pour and spread concrete into forms, ensuring proper thickness and alignment.
- Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired texture and appearance.
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed for structural integrity.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as necessary during construction activities.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction processes.
- Proficient in rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with hardscape applications and masonry work.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely.
- Construction site experience with an understanding of safety regulations.
- Competent in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
