Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, and hands-on Senior Project Manager to lead and manage residential construction projects from start to finish while serving as a mentor and resource for Project Managers. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong leadership and project management experience who is comfortable taking on administrative and operational responsibilities as we build our systems and team from the ground up.
Typical responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee all phases of residential construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and close-out.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers to support their professional development and project success.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and developing Project Managers by sharing best practices, providing guidance, and promoting consistency across projects.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, building codes, safety standards, and internal quality controls.
- Anticipate and proactively resolve project issues, providing clear communication and solutions.
- Collaborate with company leadership to help implement scalable systems, processes, and documentation standards.
- Perform administrative functions related to project compliance, billing, and documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing residential construction projects (disaster recovery experience is a plus).
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor, train, and support Project Managers and project teams.
- Experience with Buildertrend, BuildPro, Procore, or similar construction management software.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, scopes of work, and technical specifications.
- Ability to manage budgets, track costs, and prepare detailed reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, startup-like environment where adaptability and initiative are essential.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize project management and construction software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government-funded construction or Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) programs.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and inspections.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- General Contractor license is a plus.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
