Position Summary

A TIG welder is a skilled professional who precisely joins metal pieces together using a tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding technique, translating blueprints into functional structures by performing intricate welding tasks on various metals, often in industries like aerospace, construction, and manufacturing, requiring a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

TIG welding and fabrication experience or combination of TIG welding experience with certification
Ability to fabricate from blueprints, drawings and templates
Knowledge of standard weld symbols and standards.
High school education, GED or equivalent (Preferred)
Proven measurement and mathematical fraction / decimal conversion skills using a tape measure and calipers
