Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and positive Level 1 Shop Technician to join our production team in Elkhorn. In this role, you will work efficiently alongside your team to meet steady build deadlines while executing foundational processes—ranging from preparing the van chassis to installing exterior gear. This is an entry-level position with a direct, clear pathway to specialized advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Chassis Prep & Aesthetics: Painting, fabric wrapping, cabinet painting, and installing interior van insulation.
Body Modifications: Safely cutting into sheet metal to install windows and ventilation systems.
Exterior Assembly: Installing accessories like roof racks, ladders, and running boards.
Introductory Systems: Assisting with basic woodwork and entry-level electrical routing under direct supervision.
Shop Pride & Maintenance: Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace (includes daily sweeping, tool organization, and adhering to a strict 5S schedule).

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Basic hands-on experience using standard hand and power tools. General mechanical, construction, or assembly experience is a big plus.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (with team-lifts for heavier items), stand for extended periods, and work comfortably in a dynamic shop environment.
Attitude: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to learn every day.
