Certified Crane Operator

Uplifting Crane, LLC • Full-time • Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, United States • $28 - $39 / hour • 3m ago

WHO WE ARE

What began as a small, hands-on crane operation was built on hard work, long days, and a shared belief that if you do good work and treat people right, growth will follow. From the very beginning, every lift mattered. Every customer mattered. And the reputation of the company was tied directly to the integrity of the people behind it.

As demand grew, so did the vision.

Uplifting Crane evolved from a one-crane operation into a full-service crane, rigging, and industrial support company, serving contractors, manufacturers, and project teams who need dependable equipment, skilled operators, and a team that thinks beyond the lift.

While we’ve grown in size, capability, and reach, our mindset hasn’t changed. We still approach every job with the same hands-on accountability and pride that defined our earliest days. The difference now is that we’re building with the big picture in mind, investing in people, systems, safety, and long-term partnerships.

Today, Uplifting Crane stands for more than equipment. We stand for trust, responsibility, and doing the job right — every time.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Crane Operator who wants to be part of a growing team that values character just as much as skill.

Whether you're performing a simple HVAC lift or helping execute a complex industrial project, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and professional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Safely operate mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA, NCCCO, and company standards.
Perform daily crane inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Read load charts and determine safe crane configurations.
Work closely with riggers, signal persons, project managers, and customers.
Assist with setup, breakdown, and proper outrigger placement.
Plan lifts while identifying potential hazards and developing safe solutions.
Complete lift documentation and daily reports as required.
Maintain equipment in clean, professional condition.
Represent Uplifting Crane with professionalism on every job site.
Be willing to assist the team wherever needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (preferred or required based on equipment operated)
Valid CDL (preferred)
Strong understanding of crane safety and lift planning
Ability to work safely in changing job site conditions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
Willingness to continue learning and growing

WHY WE EXIST

Our goal is simple: to help create an uplifting life for our employees, our customers, and our community.

We're building a company where people are challenged to grow, encouraged to lead, supported through life's ups and downs, and inspired to become the best version of themselves. We work hard, hold each other accountable, and continuously improve, not because we have to, but because we believe people deserve our very best.

If you're looking for "just another job," this probably isn't the place for you.

But if you're looking to be part of something bigger than yourself, a team that values purpose, relationships, excellence, and serving others, we'd love to meet you.
