Overview
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Restaurant Repair and Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of restaurant equipment and mechanical systems. Looking for IT or AV experience as well as equipment. Your expertise will help ensure our kitchen and dining areas operate efficiently, safely, and without interruption. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technical work, has a strong mechanical background, and enjoys solving problems quickly and effectively.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment.
- IT or AV support as well.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Repair or replace faulty components in appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems to restore optimal operation.
- Install new kitchen equipment and appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance.
- Troubleshoot HVAC & appliance technology issues promptly to minimize downtime in restaurant operations.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience with appliance repair, service technician roles, or related maintenance work in commercial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in HVAC & appliance technology with experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration).
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices for mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing clear updates on repairs.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
