We are seeking an experienced senior-level Finish Rolling Mill Operator with advanced rolling mill expertise to support precision precious metal processing operations. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled operator who can independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize rolling mill processes while serving as a technical resource to the broader production team. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, support operator development, and contribute to world-class safety, quality, and productivity performance.
4-day work week! 4:30am - 3:00pm ** Monday - Thursday
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and optimize precision rolling mills to meet customer specifications and production requirements

Perform finish gauge reduction operations, including measuring, weighing, recording, trimming, and material handling

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards

Operate and support multiple rolling mills across the department

Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams on process improvements

Assist with developing work instructions

Train junior level operators

Promote and enforce all safety policies and PPE requirements

Perform other tasks as needed to further our company's goals and uphold our commitments
Requirements:

4+ years of rolling mill experience
-
Ability to read, write, and speak in English
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
-
Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
-
Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
-
Willingness to work overtime as needed
-
Able to stand and move throughout a 10-hour shift
-
Push, pull, bend, reach, stoop, and crouch regularly
-
Visual acuity to perform visual quality inspections
-
Ability to lift 70 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift utilizing safe lifting practices
This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
The starting rate offered to a successful candidate will be determined based on job-related factors including relevant experience, skills, education, training, certifications, demonstrated performance, and overall qualifications. The Company also considers internal equity, market conditions, and business needs when making compensation decisions. This pay range reflects the hourly rate the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
