Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Industrial and Commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC design and property maintenance.
Perform service technician tasks such as equipment repair, system upgrades, and routine inspections.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration as needed.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and welding equipment for repairs.
Diagnose mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and field service techniques.
Maintain detailed records of service activities and system performance.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, service technician roles, or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration and electrical systems.
Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles.
Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
Experience with field service operations involving air conditioning systems and equipment troubleshooting.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus.
Mechanical or technical training in HVAC or related fields is required.
Valid driver’s license for travel between job sites.
Additional skills such as boiler operation experience, mechanic experience, or expertise in maintenance are advantageous.
This position requires a motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills who can work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service in diverse environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
