Director, Facilities & Engineering – Greater Boston
A leading global CDMO is seeking a Director, Facilities & Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary GMP operations function supporting a biologics manufacturing site in the Boston area.
This role has end-to-end responsibility for Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, Metrology, CQV, Automation, and Site IT/OT, ensuring reliable, compliant, and continuously operating GMP infrastructure.
You will lead capital projects, facility expansions, validation and automation initiatives, and drive operational excellence across a complex regulated manufacturing environment. The role also includes building and developing a high-performing technical team and managing site infrastructure strategy, budgets, and vendor relationships.
Requirements:
10+ years GMP manufacturing leadership experience (biologics/pharma preferred), strong knowledge of cGMP, CQV, automation/IT systems, and proven experience leading capital projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
