We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to support rigging, machinery moving, and heavy equipment operations. This role involves operating both swing cab and fixed cab cranes for complex lifts, equipment setting, and industrial relocation projects.
Work includes job sites ranging from manufacturing facilities to construction environments. Candidates must be comfortable working in tight spaces, around sensitive equipment, and as part of a coordinated rigging crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate swing cab and fixed cab cranes for rigging and equipment setting
- Perform precision lifts for machinery, plant relocations, and industrial projects
- Work closely with riggers, signal persons, and supervisors during complex picks
- Read and interpret load charts and lift plans
- Conduct daily inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
- Assist with rigging and site operations as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Class B CDL (Unrestricted) (Class A preferred)
- Massachusetts Hoisting License 1B (1A preferred)
- NCCCO or NCCER Certification:
- Swing Cab Crane
- Fixed Cab Crane
- Experience in rigging, machinery moving, or heavy equipment handling
- Strong understanding of lift planning, signaling, and load control
Pay: From $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
