Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Fire Suppression System Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of protecting lives and property through expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire suppression systems. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems including sprinkler systems, Ansul systems, Pyrochem, Buckeye and Range Guard kitchen systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate system design and installation.
- Perform construction inspections to verify compliance with fire codes, NFPA standards, CA Title 19 regulations, and building safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot complex fire alarm systems using engineering troubleshooting techniques; identify issues with sensors, control panels, wiring or mechanical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, CAD software, and schematics to modify or upgrade existing systems efficiently.
- Provide field service support by responding promptly to service calls for system repairs or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional customer service; explain system features and maintenance procedures clearly.
- Assist in fire system sales efforts by demonstrating product benefits and technical expertise to clients interested in new or upgraded systems.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge
- Strong understanding of fire codes such as NFPA standards, building code compliance requirements, and NFPA 25, 17a, 10 and 96.
- Hands-on experience installing or maintaining proprietary fire suppression systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues using engineering principles
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power drills, and other field service equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel for on-site installations or service calls.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
