Our electricians work on commercial facilities, industrial environments, infrastructure projects, renovations, service calls, and mission-critical installations across the state.
What You'll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Perform work on new construction, renovations, service, and emergency response projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, and power distribution systems
- Identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Communicate project progress and field updates with supervisors and management
- Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements and project specifications
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on every jobsite
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Valid Connecticut E-2 Journeyman Electrician License
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Lead Electrician, or Foreman
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to diagnose, analyze, and solve electrical issues independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle review
Preferred Experience
- Commercial electrical construction
- Industrial electrical systems
- Service work and troubleshooting
- Power distribution systems
- Multi-site commercial account service
- Leadership or foreman-level responsibilities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work around large industrial and commercial equipment
- Willingness to work overtime when project demands require it
