Job Summary
We’re looking for a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Technician who can step in, assess the situation, and get the job done.
This is a hands-on position for an experienced technician who is comfortable working independently across multiple properties and projects. If you have a strong commercial HVAC background, know refrigeration, and can troubleshoot without needing someone standing over your shoulder, this position is for you.
Duties
- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot refrigeration systems and related equipment
- Work with chillers and other commercial HVAC equipment
- Handle service needs across multiple properties and projects
- Identify problems, determine appropriate solutions, and complete work efficiently
- Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role with a strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, refrigeration and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, thermostats, electrical controls, and building automation systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeters (ohmmeters), gauges, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics for troubleshooting electrical faults within HVAC units or control panels.
- Certifications in HVAC/R or mechanical systems is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues efficiently under pressure.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
