About the Role

Are you a mechanical problem-solver who enjoys working independently? We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our service team . In this role, you will be responsible for the "big three" of refreshment technology: Refrigerated Coolers, Ice Machines, and Vending Equipment. This position is a mix troubleshooting and repair and essential Preventative Maintenance (PM). From diagnosing a compressor issue to performing deep-clean sanitization on an ice machine, your work ensures our customers always have a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM services to extend machine life and reduce downtime. This includes cleaning condenser coils, performing scale removal on ice machines and updating vending software.
Service & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in reach-in coolers, commercial ice machines, and snack/beverage vending machines.
Vending Tech: Troubleshoot and replace control boards, motors, bill validators, and credit card readers.
Customer Service: Communicate clearly with location managers regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
Documentation: Maintain accurate digital logs of parts used and work performed via our mobile dispatch app.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Background: 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair, appliance repair, or HVAC/R.
Refrigeration Knowledge: EPA Universal (or Type I & II) Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).
Reliability: A clean driving record and the ability to work independently in the field.
Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting/moving equipment and working on your feet for the majority of the day.
