Security & Fire Alarm Technician
Homeland Security Systems is a growing technology and security company based in Lima, Ohio. We provide customized solutions for residential and commercial customers, including fire alarm, fire detection, access control, security, video surveillance, networking, internet, phone, and other technology systems.

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Security & Fire Alarm Technician to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain residential and commercial:
- Security systems
- Video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Fire alarm and fire detection systems
- Related security and fire alarm equipment
- Install network cabling, wireless equipment, and other technology systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the field.
- Communicate professionally with customers and office staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Travel daily to various customer and job sites throughout Ohio.
- Represent Homeland Security Systems professionally while working at customer locations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Fire alarm experience and a valid Ohio Fire Alarm license are required.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to travel to different customer sites throughout Ohio.
- Technicians are responsible for providing their own standard hand and power tools.
- Specialty tools, such as rotary hammers and core drills, will be provided by the company.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
