Reitter Stucco & Supply Co. is a commercial exterior wall contractor in Columbus, Ohio. We self-perform EIFS, stucco, manufactured stone and fluid-applied air barrier work for the region's leading general contractors, and we have been doing it under the same family name since 1915.
We are hiring a Commercial Estimator / Project Manager to take ownership of commercial EIFS work and to build out a new product line for us: fiber cement panel and rainscreen cladding.
WHY THIS ROLE IS OPEN
This is a growth seat, not a backfill. Commercial EIFS is the best work we do and we want a second person who can price it and run it. At the same time, architects in our market are specifying medium-density fiber cement panel — Nichiha, Ceraclad and similar systems — on projects we are already bidding, and we do not yet pursue that scope the way it deserves. You would own both: EIFS as the core of the job, and panel as the line you build.
You do not need EIFS experience to apply. If you have estimated or managed commercial framing, siding or panel work, you already understand the wall we build on. We will train you on the system.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Read commercial plans and specifications, run take-offs, and build estimates for EIFS, fiber cement panel and related exterior wall scopes.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, then manage the projects you sell. Submittals, buyout, subcontractors, schedule, billing, change orders and closeout.
- Develop our fiber cement panel line: qualify an installation subcontractor, build relationships with manufacturers and their reps, and get in front of the architects specifying the product.
- Work with our superintendents and field managers to compare finished jobs back against the estimate, and sharpen the next one.
- Handle the commercial paperwork that protects the job: subcontracts, insurance certificates, AIA billing, schedule notices and change order documentation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5 years estimating and/or project management in commercial exterior wall systems, framing, siding, panel, EIFS, stucco or an adjacent envelope trade.
- You can read a commercial drawing set and a specification section and tell us what is actually in our scope and what is not.
- Comfortable with digital take-off (The EDGE, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam or similar) and strong in Excel.
- Organized enough to run several jobs at once and keep the paperwork current.
- Straight with people. Our general contractor relationships are the business; you'd be representing them.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to get to job sites.
NICE TO HAVE
- Fiber cement panel or rainscreen experience. Nichiha, Ceraclad or comparable.
- EIFS, stucco or manufactured stone background.
- Procore, Textura, GCPay, BuildingConnected or ProjectSight.
- AIA G702 / G703 billing and lien waiver administration.
- Degree in construction management, engineering or a related field.
