Harbor Line Electric is a family owned electrical contractor in Stuart doing work most electricians never touch. We are the marina and dock specialists of the Treasure Coast: 600 to 1,200 amp marina services, shore power distribution, dock wiring, boat lifts, waterfront homes, and standby generators as a Generac certified dealer.
Founded by a third generation electrician, we do things the right way with no shortcuts, we take on complex work, and we are building a company where good electricians can build a long career.
This is not another residential electrician job.
Major marina electrical systems. Large services and distribution. Troubleshooting that actually takes skill. High end waterfront homes, remodels, and new construction. Crew leadership and a real path toward running larger projects.

The role
You run the job and the crew on it.
A large share of your time is marina work: servicing, troubleshooting, and replacing large gear, 600 to 1,200 amp services, main distribution, feeders, and pedestal systems at active marinas where shutdowns, phasing, coordination, and getting customers back online matter.
The rest is custom homes: remodels and new construction from rough in to trim, run start to finish to our standard.
You will have an apprentice or helper under you and the owner one phone call away, not looking over your shoulder.
Strong foreman first. Marina specialist second.
If you can run 400 amp and larger services, troubleshoot distribution, understand feeders, grounding, and bonding, and lead people, we will teach you the marina side and you can become one of the best marina electricians on the Treasure Coast.
The kind of person we are looking for
A foreman who takes ownership. You can walk a project, understand what needs to happen, build a material list, direct your crew, communicate problems early, and drive the job through inspection without someone planning every step for you.
What you will do
- Service and replace large marina electrical gear: 600 to 1,200 amp services, switchboards, distribution panels, feeders, and shore power pedestal systems
- Troubleshoot marina power problems with advanced test equipment and get docks back online
- Run remodel and new construction homes start to finish: layout, material lists, execution, inspections
- Lead a crew of one to three, keep the job safe, and keep the client informed
- Document your work in Jobber and Google Drive: time, photos, notes, and material lists
What we need
- Typically 7+ years of electrical field experience, or equivalent experience that shows foreman level capability
- Real hands on time on services 400 amp and larger
- Residential remodel and new construction experience is strongly preferred. Commercial foremen with strong service, distribution, and leadership experience are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable running a job and crew without needing constant direction
- Marina, dock, or waterfront experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Generac certification or a Florida journeyman or master license is a plus
- Strong English communication skills, spoken and written, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, inspectors, and the office
- Comfort with digital tools in the field
- Clean, valid Florida driver license. Within about 45 minutes of Stuart preferred
- Able to handle attics, ladders, Florida heat, work over water, and lifting up to 50 lbs
